Forty-three clubs participated this weekend in the third edition of the triathlon, triathletes plus 50 independents.
The test was held this Saturday, June 5 in Los Alcazares was scoring for the regional circuit.
It met with athletes from Andalusia, Valencia, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla León, Extremadura, Galicia and Murcia.
Absolute Champion was Pedro Miguel Reig Rover made the journey in two hours four minutes and Cabanas Master Fatima female, with a time of two hours and twenty minutes.
Julio Antonio Pardo Soto and Susana Alcaraz Martínez were the first local, both of the Triathlon Club Los Alcazares.
The arrival at the finish line located on the seafront of Playa de Las Palmeras ending a journey that started at half past five p.m. 1,500-meter swim and continued with a street circuit of forty miles by bicycle .
The ten kilometer race walk along the promenade were the last stage of this test, the distances of their travels, have Olympic status.
Councillor for Sports, Pedro Llamas, highlighted the excellent development of the sporting event in its third edition.
For its part, the Mayor stated Gil embodies the sporting activities as an important element for tourism in the municipality.
The current Aquathlon champion Spain, Pedro Antonio Lopez de Haro-Los Alcazares-finished first in the junior and fourth in all.
