Zenet has been able to find his audience and find him, to offer him an authentic, personal, solid and coherent artistic project, not a castle of fireworks of those that go out as the first flash passes.
The malagueño, who has grown up between the sea, the light and the smoke of the espetos, is by nature bright, open, universal, like those fumes, that light, that sea and that music of his that looks at the swing, at the bolero , to the sound, the bossa, the blues, the bulería, the tango and even the copla.
It's been eight years since Toni Zenet's first album, 'The Seas of China' came to the fore.
It sounded different and sounded good, and it became the owner by right of a land that no one stepped on.
In that first album, the language of jazz, the Latin sonorous universe, the resonance of the music of half the world, the lyrics of the inseparable Javier Laguna and the personal way of feeling the music and texts of Zenet, in collaboration with the indispensable José Taboada, guitarist and authentic musical "alter ego" of the singer.
