? Cantoría is a vocal ensemble specialized in the Iberian repertoire of the Golden Age and directed by Jorge Losana.
The vocal group was formed in the summer of 2016 at the International Festival of Ancient Music of Sierra Espuña (Murcia), although it has its origin in the Department of Ancient Music of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC, Barcelona).
It is formed by Inés Alonso (soprano), Samuel Tapia (countertenor), Jorge Losana (tenor and direction) and Valentín Miralles (bass), although he usually collaborates with other singers and musicians who specialize in historicist interpretation.
In 2017 they were selected for the International Young Artist's Presentation program (IYAP, Antwerp, Belgium), for the residences of the Cité de la Voix de Vezelay in 2018, the MuSAE Project and for the Eeemerging 2018 European ensemble program.
The quartet will perform within the First Cycle of Ancient Music of the Mar Menor organized by the Department of Culture of the City Council of Los Alcázares and Early Music Project.
This cycle includes three concerts and this will be the second of them.
The performance will take place at 8:30 pm at the Mar Menor Yacht Club of Los Alcázares.
After the concert of Los Alcázares, they will perform throughout the Spanish geography including a great concert at the Museo del Prado on the occasion of the museum's bicentennial.
They will also act in Zaragoza, Barcelona, ​​Toledo, Lyon or Bremen among others.
