The Government delegate, Diego Conesa, has declared as emergency work the repair of the D7 drainage channel in Los Alcázares in its connection with the Albujón ravine, which suffered a major breakdown in the floods two years ago and which, As they moved him this summer, he generates a lot of anxiety to the neighbors of the town every time it rains.

"It is the unequivocal will of the Government of Spain to act immediately after the request of the neighbors on a work in which absolutely nothing had been done before this summer.My commitment as a delegate of the Government is that the action on the D7 be a reality in the coming months, "said Conesa.

The works will focus on reinforcing this drainage that exists before reaching Los Alcázares and which connects with the Rambla del Albujón, changing the orientation of one of these drainages and, fundamentally, allowing the connection with the Rambla de Maraña, a space that it has disappeared.

"We must begin to be serious, to comply with the law and respect the hydraulic public domain, and that is why I want to send a message of cooperation to all those who at other times have held responsibilities, because what we do wrong today, has its repercussion tomorrow ", the delegate has indicated to explain that the works that now have to be undertaken in the D7 are a consequence of the bad practices and previous bad practices
