The E Plan allows major improvements in the urban environment of Los Alcazares (17/06/2010)

Los Alcazares receives more than 4.1 million State Funds 2009-2010

The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of Los Alcazares, Encarnación Gil, visited several works to improve streets and infrastructure in this county which involves an investment by the Government of Spain, through the Local Investment Fund , more than 2.5 million euros, which allowed the creation of 74 jobs, of which 41 are newly created and 33 of persons within the successful tenderers.

These are 4 major projects in the area of improving the urban environment.

González Tovar and the Mayor of Los Alcazares has visited the paving of various streets of the town's Oasis development of this municipality.

Among the works carried out have proceeded to the replacement of the pavement of sidewalks and driveways.

Improvements have also been developed to channel irrigation network and gardening, as well as the mains, among others, who have received an investment of 980,000 euros and have created 21 jobs.

González Tovar explained that for 2010 and through the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability, Zapatero's government will allow the investment of EUR 1,641,000 to the City Council for 8 new projects under construction in Los palaces, with a projected job creation of 41 jobs and will make possible the development of social spending bill for the maintenance of the preschools and public schools in the municipality that will benefit 1,500 students.
