The mayor of Los Alcazares, Encarna Gil, held this morning a meeting with the managing director of Health Service of Murcia, José Antonio Alarcón González, which has seen accompanied by the Councillor for Health, M ª Carmen Imbernón Saura.
The Mayor wanted to personally congratulate you on the assumption of the Alarcón SMS management, as it has worked for years in the health center in Los Alcazares, which has its place in family practice.
At the meeting, Gil has raised the current health situation in which the population is facing the summer months, which are needed more allocation of resources and personnel to care for the displaced.
It also recalled the old struggle that the municipality has with the SMS for achieving the 24 hour emergency service.
"It is necessary for a municipality like ours, which have increased fivefold in recent years the number of citizens, have a service that meets the medical emergencies throughout the day without having to move to San Javier" - recalled the Mayor .
"Alarcón knows first hand the problems of Los Alcazares, because he has been consulting our neighbors so we're convinced that you will attend special sensitivity to our requests and will do everything in their power to improve our health service municipality, "said Gil.
Finally, the Mayor recalled that remains on the table an offer which made the council a few years ago to dispose of a municipal plot for the construction of a new health center in the Los Narejos.
