One hundred students will compete in the finals of the contest "Discover Your region" (05/04/2016)

Thursday comes the final phase of the contest "Discover Your region" in which participated a hundred students from eight secondary schools in the region.

This is a competition organized by the association Los Alcázares Eco Cultural, which allows young people to get to know their region with questions regarding different topics such as;

Environment, History, Murcia, Mar Menor, Cabezo Gordo, Socio-Economics Socio-Political and Local Memory.

The final phase will take place on April 7 at 19 pm in the Auditorium of the City of Los Alcazares, it will be held in three rounds.

In the first round will involve all students in the eight Institutes and a battery with a score of questions to be answered all at the same time be held.

For the second round the best score five groups have obtained and these will compete through a system of test questions, and be classified individually.

After this round will have qualified three groups competing through a system of questions which will have to discover a hidden character or place, through a series of tracks that will be providing them.

The 32 participating teams (three students per team) will be supervised by a jury composed of members of the eco-cultural Association, which as in the initial phase, will qualify the responses of the contestants.

There will only be prize for the top three, the first is sponsored by the City of Los Alcázares, the second by the City of Torre Pacheco and the third by Plus Orthopedics.
