Citizens have raised to the Congress of Deputies a series of questions in relation to aid for the repair of the sewerage and sanitation network, the sidewalks of the urban center and the outstanding repairs of buildings in Los Alcázares affected by the floods suffered by the municipality in December of last year.

The deputies Miguel Garaulet and Jose Luis Martinez have raised a series of questions to the House with the aim of clarifying if the game of 31 million euros that would be destined for this purpose, that the mayor himself had assured that it was included in the General Budgets of this year's State, "is really contemplated in the accounts of the State or is another smoke screen and another empty announcement by Anastasio Bastida and the politicians of the PP", has pointed out the orange deputy Miguel Garaulet, who makes reference to some declarations of the first aedile realized in August on this departure, included in another greater than 75 million in helps granted by the State to the municipalities affected by the floods that according to him already were including in the state budgets.

Citizens want to know the specific item in which these funds are and if they have already released the funds corresponding to Los Alcázares.

In the event that this is the case, the deputies ask the Government to explain what the expenditure committed in 2017 was for that item and what the level of execution has been.

"We are very afraid that this item has not been applied in its entirety, and therefore we also want to know if in that case the State plans to include a similar item in the PGE for 2018," added Garaulet.
