The town hall of Los Alcázares and the Claudio Galeno teaching group sign a training agreement (01/02/2018)

This collaboration will enable training in various matters related to the safety and emergencies of the personnel of the Emergency Service and Civil Protection through the Forum for the Safety of the educational institution.

Among the objectives of the Department of Civil Protection that have been marked for 2018, is the improvement of the training of the staff of the Emergency Service and Civil Protection, this agreement will enable access to training and educational activities that the Teaching Group of Vocational Training develops within the scope of the Forum for Security and Emergencies.

The Emergency and Civil Protection Service has a staff of 25 professionals as well as fifty civil defense volunteers;

in the pivota the 112 management in the municipality in addition to the Municipal Emergency Assistance Service, the emergency plans and foreseeable risk devices that are developed in the municipality, the actions of Maritime Rescue and Surveillance of beaches.

The Claudio Galeno Teaching Group;

is the first professional training group in the field of security and emergencies throughout the country and is the holder of institutes in the Valencian Community, Madrid and the Region of Murcia.

This agreement will enable students of the intermediate level cycles in Health Emergencies and Emergencies and Civil Protection, as well as the Coordination Superior in Emergencies and Civil Protection, to carry out their internships within the Training module in Work Centers, thus providing the opportunity to have access to a comprehensive security and emergency service such as that of Los Alcázares City Council.

The City Council of Los Alcázares has been collaborating with different educational institutions, such as Secondary Education Institutes, School of Tourism, University of Murcia and the Catholic University and it is valued in a very positive way, that these students have their first professional experience working together to the public employees of our administration.

This type of collaboration makes it possible to generate positive synergies between the educational institutions and the City Council as they bring the work environment closer to the future professionals of the different sectors with whom we collaborate.
