Agents of the Local Police of Los Alcázares proceeded to the arrest of a person who was stealing electric wiring from public lighting.
The events occurred last week around 23:40 hours, in the area of ​​Nueva Marbella and Lo Gonzalo, when a blackout surprised a neighbor while she was walking with her pet around the neighborhood of her house, observing how two people were manipulated public lighting boxes.
After alerting the local police, the agents traveled to the place, checking the lack of public lighting, being able to observe how a person started the escape through the streets of the town, going to a parked vehicle.
After being intercepted, it is observed how this person, carries all the clothes full of mud, carrying cutting tools and gloves.
The agents intervened tools that are usually used for this criminal act, as well as gloves, caps and wiring, all located in the trunk.
After an inspection of the area, several raised public lighting boxes, cut light cables and other cabling coils hidden among bushes and ready to be carried away were observed.
The individual who was detained and transferred to the Civil Guard of Los Alcázares to be brought before the courts, carried a total of 160 meters of wiring.
