"Positive actions in school, social and family context" is the title of the course at the International University of Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum to be held in the town of Los Alcazares from 10th to 12th September.
According to its makers, stimulating emotional skills from an early age promotes the welfare of people, making them more creative and competent.
Hence, they say, that "the identification, expression, communication and development of emotions, both children and professionals working with them, is a necessary competence to take advantage of various opportunities that creativity and Positive Psychology processes of learning to learn, learning to teach and learn to live. "
The course offers resources to solve both everyday and unexpected situations in family, academic and professional life, sense of humor make a tool that contributes to empathize with others, teach design activities around positive psychology to optimize learning classroom and satisfaction.
The course is run by Olivia Lopez Martinez, Department of Psychology and Education at the University of Murcia, and includes topics such as the emotional nature of creativity;
logical decisions and emotions;
the creative value of storytelling and the importance of humor in family structure.
The activity has a duration of 25 hours and those who enroll in it shall be entitled to 2.5 free elective credit or 1 ECTS-CRAU
