In the course attended by 40 agents and Response Prevention Unit of the Police Headquarters of Murcia
In the town of Los Alcazares Murcia was held throughout the summer, a course in Emergency and Rescue Water Environment to improve the training of components of the operating units of the National Police, specifically the officers within the Unit Prevention and Reaction Brigade Provincial Public Safety Headquarters in Murcia, in situations of disasters in which they must intervene to rescue people in floods and overflows and for that handle specific rescue boats.
This course has been organized by the Update Center and Specialization of the National Police, with both their own and foreign teachers to the NPC, involved 40 officers divided into two batches of 20, with a duration of one week for each of the runs.
The objectives to be achieved by students in this course are: know the rules of all rescue waterways, the different types of trailer and extraction can be performed;
recall knowledge of first aid, how to perform CPR, the transfer of the injured;
learn various forms of dams and zafaduras;
diversity of water rescue equipment that can be used and the various boats and high-speed maneuvers and docking and everything must be taken into account when carrying out the rescue.
