The mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida and the drivers of artistic and cultural association Mario Company, represented by Guillermo Arenas, Jorge Pina and Jesus Gracia, presented this morning the path of Urban Art performed by more than twenty artists and financed by the City of Los Alcázares.
The "El Pueblo Painting" project began in 2013 when "The Society of Mario" was established in the city.
The first phase began with the rehabilitation and beautification of the town walls.
Urban Art Route corresponding to the second phase of the project, has fifty murals of different themes and distributed throughout the municipality.
The mayor pointed out that "is another attraction for visitors and neighbors."
For his part, Jesus Gracia said that "at the beginning this project was very distant but today is a reality and we want to continue working so that our project is part of the urban landscape of the municipality".
The first official route will take place on November 14 at 12 am from the Municipal Pool.
The tour will take place approximately two hours by bike, so each participant must bring their own.
Those interested in this route you do not have a bicycle, can avail of the 12 bikes that the city of Los Alcázares made available for this purpose.
Registration is free and will be held at the Tourist Office.
Guillermo Arenas, explained that the Road "is also meant for people who want to do it as an individual, for it has created a link that connects to the wall map and offering different information from them," he said
