The Minister of Economy and Finance, Inmaculada García, today signed a partnership agreement with the mayor of Los Alcazares, Gil Incarnation, by which the municipality will delegate to the Regional Revenue Agency the collection function in executive session of taxes and other debts no tax, public charges and other income from the public.

This agreement is in addition to the 28 that the Ministry has already signed with other local governments.

With the entry into force of the agreement, the Regional Revenue Agency will incorporate new collection management telematics services in the area that will benefit citizens, who may carry out through the Internet your payments and making arrangements related to the collection process, such as delays and subdivisions, improper revenue returns or requests for information, among others.

Citizens may also use the administrative services through email, through which citizens who request them, they can get access documents and receive any information relating to the handling of their cases.

In addition, an official of the Regional Revenue Agency will move to City Hall each week to meet people and offer all kinds of information related to the processing of their files to the taxpayers and the local council.

Agreements Regional Revenue Agency

Moreover, the municipality of Los Alcazares may benefit from the agreements signed between the Regional Directors through the Regional Revenue Agency and the State Tax Administration Agency, for the recovery of economic town hall outside of that territory region.

Under these agreements, the Regional Revenue Agency has developed a new management procedure, in collaboration with the National Tax Administration Agency, namely the implementation of an automated seizure of tax refunds (income tax, VAT and Tax companies) to debtors of the Autonomous Community and the municipalities that have delegated their management in the Regional Revenue Agency.

The implementation of the procedure involved the interconnection of data bases of both agencies, a national pilot project in which the Autonomous Community of Murcia is a pioneer.
