The mayor of Los Alcazares, Encarna Gil, has announced that it will expand the number of collection points for waste (ie areas where there are a container for glass, one for cardboard and other packaging).
This announcement was made during the regular full celebrated on Monday.
This expansion has been achieved since the Department of Services as an enhancement of the agreement established with the concessionaire of the municipal cleaning service Urbaser SA, which runs from the four listed in the contract to a total of eighteen and without increases in the cost established.
Increased container is already in progress: there are eleven points already installed will be completed in the coming days with the placement of the remaining seven.
On the other hand, it will launch a new cardboard collection service to establishments.
This specific action to the shops along the same line of glass collection campaign designed to promote recycling among the innkeepers of the town which was launched in late June.
