The City Council of Los Alcázares in collaboration with the Association of Merchants "Hostealcázar" and the concessionary company of the Parking of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, have reached an agreement, by which, parking will be provided to those customers who go to the commercial area of the old town of the municipality.
The bars, shops and restaurants that benefit from this initiative will buy parking tickets for a period of two free hours and these are then delivered to their customers.
This measure is intended to promote the downtown area of ​​Los Alcázares and at the same time facilitate the scarce parking that exists due to the urban planning of the area.
Therefore, a family that comes to the center, shop, taste our cuisine and decide to have a coffee or a drink, will not pay for parking as long as it takes place in shops, bars and restaurants adhering to this initiative.
Once consumed the two hours, the client will pay 1.5 euros per hour.
The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, was satisfied with this agreement and explained that "it is intended to promote local trade, facilitate things to those who visit us and minimize the effect of the lack of parking in the center", in This sense has explained that he expects all the premises of the center to adhere so that customers have a wider offer where they can buy, eat or have a coffee and get those two free hours of parking.
The businesses that want to participate in this initiative will buy a two-hour bonus and will only pay one hour, that is, they will receive a 50% discount on those bonuses that will later be given to customers.
