The Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida and the Councilor for Parks and Gardens, José María Cano, inaugurated this morning a new geronto-gymnastics park that became the first biosaludible circuit for people with reduced mobility in the Region of Murcia.
The new circuit of adapted gerontogimnasia is located in the denominated "Red Track" that adjoins with the streets Torrepino, Meseguer, Americas and Morera.
It is installed on an area of ​​915 square meters and has involved an investment of 11,400 euros.
The park is equipped with biosaludable sports equipment and adapted, such as a stationary bike, cross-country ski machine, skates, pony, adapted biceps machine, adapted bike, adapted pectorals, adapted rudder and steering wheel and adapted rudder.
It also has a chess table, a table tennis and a parchís.
This adapted biosaludable circuit is the first in the Region of Murcia.
With this new gerontogimnasia park, there are already 5 that have been installed in the municipality next to the 20 new playground parks, one of them, also in the aforementioned "Pista Roja."
The mayor of Los Alcázares explained that "in a few weeks the municipality will have a calisthenics park in the Playa de las Palmeras and another Pump Track is planned in the Nueva Marbella Urbanization for the coming months," he said.
