The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, accompanied by the directors of the Executive and the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, today made a walk through this municipality, which hosted this morning the weekly meeting of the Governing Council.

López Miras remarked that during his visit to Los Alcázares "we have been able to verify that the Mar Menor is fine, and that if a year ago it had only one meter of transparency, now it is around five meters", something that , "Is due to the regeneration capacity of the Mar Menor and also to the measures put in place by the regional government."
