The Councilor for Sports, Nicolás Ruiz, the General Director of Sports, Alonso Gómez and the president of the Sport Games Sports Association, Lázaro Galindo, presented this morning the XIEdition of the Autonomous Mar Menor Beach Soccer Championship to be held in the municipality of 10 to 12 August.
The sporting event will have the presence of 10 senior teams and some 40 teams of base categories, in total more than 400 players aged between 8 and 40.
The City Council of Los Alcázares has enabled two fields in the Playa de Las Palmeras where more than 30 games will be played.
The senior teams will come from all points of the Region of Murcia as well as Almeria and Alicante.
The Councilor for Sports explained that "we continue to bet on the promotion of sport, always thinking of a formula that combines tourism and sport," he said.
