The Auditorium of the Peńas Huertanas Park hosted last night the institutional act in which Los Alcázares and Puerto Lumbreras, guest municipality in this edition of the Week of the Garden and the Sea, were twinned.
The night began with an international folklore show by the Ballet Folklórico de Panamá Canta y Baila.
After them, it was the turn of the Group of Choirs and Dances Virgen del Rosario of Puerto Lumbreras that were the prelude to the institutional act.
The first mayor, Anastasio Bastida explained that "Puerto Lumbreras has much to offer, the Week of the Huerta is a window open to the world and we want this great municipality of the Region of Murcia, look out the window with us and thus work reciprocally in the tourist promotion of both municipalities "pointed.
Minutes later, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia and the mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, exchanged traditional recognition plaques to seal the twinning. The evening ended with the group Folk Dance and Music Belaya Rus of Belarus and Baller Folklorico Calden Gaucho from Argentina.
