In a letter filed in the Municipal Register, the workers of the company state that "we do NOT share at all the forms used by Mr. Mayor but YES the bottom of the statement and we subscribe each and every one of the words pronounced by Mr. Mayor D. Anastasio Bastida in the aforementioned Plenary, statements in which he referred to some workers in particular as 'cheeks that do not give a stick to the water,' the workers pointed out.
In the same letter the workers claim not to be represented at all by the statement of FeSP-UGT, or by its responsible Mr. José Quereda, nor share the complaint that the latter has made in a statement where he demands the Mayor to apologize.
From the popular group, consider the statement of FeSP-UGT as an instrument to favor the PSOE in the face of the upcoming municipal elections.
The workers of the company finalize their communiqué demanding Mr. Quereda that "in the future he refrains from issuing any statement attributing a representation of this template without having consulted us before".
The popular group thanked the workers for the sincerity shown in their writing, asserting the truth above the interests that some trade union and political groups have made of these statements.
