The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida and the Councilor for Sports, Nicolás Ruiz, today visited the rehabilitation works of the municipal soccer field that began yesterday and in which the City will invest almost half a million euros.
Los Alcázares soccer field was another of the fatal consequences that left in Los Alcázares floods in December 2016 that together with the municipal pool and pavilion 13 October, already rehabilitated, are the places most frequented by Alcazares athletes.
The works that began yesterday will last for four months and seven weeks, so before Easter, Los Alcázares will have a football field fully rehabilitated and with several improvements compared to the previous one.
Specifically, a new soccer field of 7,178.80 square meters of synthetic turf has been designed that will comply with the measures established by FIFA to host official or international matches.
The soccer field will be completed with the corresponding facilities for drainage, irrigation, equipment, sidewalks and fencing, as well as elements of trees and other vegetation treatments and paving in landscape integration.
The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida explained that "it is not a matter of recomposing what was broken, it is about improving what was previously and that is what we are doing, in the football field and in everything that is being rebuilt"
