These works will allow, in addition, to connect with a part of the ravine of Maraña, a space that has disappeared "due to the previous bad practices"
The Government delegate, Diego Conesa, today supervised the start of the emergency works in the drainage channel D7 in Los Alcázares in connection with the ravine of Albujón, which suffered a major breakdown in the floods two years ago, and what was committed last November 23 after various meetings with the mayor, councilors and residents of the town.
"It is the third time that I visit this place to solve a problem that was entrenched for more than two years.
With these works we will improve the exit curve of the water from the D7 drainage to the Albujón ravine.
It is an acquired commitment that we are fulfilling today ", explained Conesa, who has asked the other administrations for responsibility and collaboration in a situation, he reiterated, which generates a lot of uncertainty among the residents of Los Alcázares.
The works will focus on reinforcing this drainage that exists before reaching Los Alcázares and which connects with the Rambla del Albujón, changing the orientation of one of these drainages and, fundamentally, allowing the connection with the Rambla de Maraña, a space that it has disappeared as a consequence, the delegate concluded, of the previous bad practices and bad practices.
