The Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, the Councilor for Sports, Nicolás Ruiz, the General Director of Sports, Alonso Gómez and the organizer of the event, Aitor Jiménez, today presented the VII edition of the 10K-5K Villa de Los Alcázares that will turn the municipality into the epicenter of Murcian athletics next Saturday, April 27, with the celebration of the Murcia Region Championship of 10 kilometers en route.
The test that will cover two distances of 10,000 and 5,000 meters, will have as starting point the Avenue of Los Narejos (Hotel Costa Narejos).
The circuit, homologated by 10k by the Royal Spanish Federation that places Los Alcázares as one of the few municipalities in the Region of Murcia with a circuit of these characteristics, since the race will run largely by urban area but with a great incentive , more than 4 kilometers will be made next to the beach, so they make it unique
The 10km race, in addition to having a 10km homologated circuit, will become the 10km regional championship en route.
On the other hand, you will have the shortest option of 5 kilometers for those athletes who do not look sufficiently prepared to take the long test.
The Councilor for Sports explained that "the City of Los Alcázares bet another year to bring to our municipality competitions of great nature that place Los Alcázares at the top of the regional and national landscape"
