The emergency service and Civil Protection of Los Alcázares turns thirty next December.
During all this time they have attended thousands of emergencies and health emergencies, they have performed the tasks of surveillance and rescue on beaches, maritime rescue;
as well as the organization and attention in catastrophes and situations of public calamity, situations of imminent danger to citizens, the most recent example found in the floods of December 2016.
Emergencies and Civil Protection of the City of Los Alcázares is composed of 25 officials and 50 volunteers, arriving in the summer to the hundred and has its headquarters in the Comprehensive Security Center, headquarters of remote terminals command and control of the emergency single telephone European.
It is a municipal service, which develops its functions aware of the training and professional excellence, the updating in its formation, discipline, solidarity, ethical integration and the vocation of service to the community;
they are values ​​that must be assumed at any time in order to provide the highest quality assistance in the shortest time to the citizens of Los Alcázares.
To celebrate these thirty years, in the coming weeks will be released a guide with all the activities that will be carried out for this anniversary among which highlight a gala, numerous training courses on emergencies and conferences.
The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida explained that "it is a close service, very professional and is one of the best in Spain at both operational and organizational levels"
