The councilor for Social Policy, Isabel Sarmiento, accompanied by the mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida and councilors of the Municipal Corporation and residents of the municipality, today read the manifesto on the occasion of International Women's Day in which he stressed that " the right to equality must be inculcated from childhood, this being the best way to ensure that in the future men and women coexist in an equal and supportive way, so it is necessary to promote education in values, "he stressed.
The Department of Social Policy has scheduled a program full of activities to commemorate the month of women.
Tonight at 8:00 p.m., the Plenary Hall will host the concert of the Spangles that will give voice to Women's Day, a barbershop awarded nationally and internationally on several occasions.
The free route "Women in the history of Los Alcázares", which will be held on Saturday, March 10, will be another of the month's activities, in which participants can learn about the municipality from another point of view.
From the 13th of March to the 21st of April there will be workshops on "Conscious Movement and Curalotodo Stories", "Personal Defense", "Laughter Workshop" and "The Garden is our life" among others.
There will also be time for discussion with the round table "Women, disability and gender violence: know your rights" and a storyteller in the Public Library to end the month.
