The Socialist Party of Los Alcázares has announced its commitment to launch the first Mar Menor Street Theater Festival, whose main objective will be to promote culture and bring theater to all neighborhoods through theatrical performances in the various streets and squares of the city. municipality.
Mario Cervera, spokesman and candidate of the PSOE Los Alcázares, believes that "it is essential that the municipality becomes a cultural reference with activities throughout the year" and therefore, has committed, among other measures, to reopen the School of Music of Los Alcázares, which eliminated the Municipal Government of the Popular Party;
give solution to the Municipal Theater, which currently remains closed.
It should be noted that, prior to these measures, the PSOE of Los Alcázares already confirmed to the neighbors that one of their main proposals, in case of governing, would be the opening of the Municipal Residence of the Third Age.
In response to this initiative, the Popular Party of Los Alcázares announced that it would complete the construction of the residence, which has been paralyzed for more than eight years.
It is not the first time that the PSOE Los Alcázares is committed to promoting culture.
In fact, during this last term, the socialist municipal group presented the proposal approved unanimously by unanimously to convert the aeronautical heritage of the municipality into a benchmark of identity, given the cultural, tourism and economic potential it generates.
This measure takes special value at present because, after the closure of the San Javier Airport, it will house the aviation museum of the Infante Orleans Foundation, which has a collection of more than forty historical aircraft.
In this same line, the PSOE Los Alcázares has bet during these years to preserve and promote the heritage of the municipality.
In particular, the Roman rafts or possible Roman sites that can be found in the old town, whose tastings will be carried out after being included in the budgets approved for this year 2019.
