The Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, visited the residences 'El Palmeral del Mar Menor' and 'Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles' of Los Alcázares that welcome 126 elderly people.
Tomás recalled in his visit that "almost 100 places between the two residential centers are arranged by the Institute of Social Action (IMAS)," and praised the work of professionals "with their daily efforts improve the quality of life of our elderly , our best heritage. "
The residence 'El Palmeral' has 88 places for the elderly, while 'Nuestra Señora de los Angeles' houses 38. In both, the residents have physiotherapists and professionals who develop cognitive and physical improvement workshops.
