The act was attended by councilors from all the political groups that make up the Municipal Corporation, as well as the regional deputy of the PSRM Manolo Sevilla.
This midday has been held at the City Hall of Los Alcázares the act of placing the rainbow flag on the occasion of the celebration of Pride Day.
During the development of the event, organized by the Department of Equality, two protest manifestos have been read, one by the councilor María José Benzal and another by the neighbor of the Mayte Cazorla municipality, both in support of the equality of all people, regardless of their sexual orientation.
The act was attended by councilors of the three political parties of the Corporation, the deputy for the PSRM, Manolo Sevilla, municipal employees and neighbors of Los Alcázares.
After reading the manifestos, Mayor Mario Cervera and the councilors of the Corporation have proceeded to place the flag on the balcony of the facade of the City, which will wave for a week.
It is the first time that a symbolic act of this kind takes place in the Town Hall.
