The Alcade of the municipality Mario Cervera, and the councilman of Civil Protection, María José Benzal have received today all the staff that forms the service of surveillance, rescue and emergencies.
This morning the Mayor of Los Alcázares Mario Cervera and the Councilor for Civil Protection, María José Benzal, have welcomed all the contingent of personnel who will work for the surveillance and rescue on beaches of Los Alcázares during the season declared by the Plan COPLA as "high danger period", which runs from today July 1 to August 31.
This service has, for the attention of emergencies and emergencies, with 7 aid posts, 29 professional water rescuers of Civil Protection, 25 emergency agents, an SVA ambulance (Advanced Life Support) for emergencies with medical, nursing and technical service of health emergencies daily;
an ambulance of Emergency of SVB with two technicians of sanitary emergencies daily, two semi-rigid boats and a rescue water motorcycle, 1 operator of room 112 the 24 hours of the day, and five vehicles of fast intervention.
It should be noted that one of the services best valued by bathers is that of the restrooms assisted by lifeguards in amphibious chairs on the beach of Los Alcázares.
In this sense, last year, there were more than 1000 users who enjoyed this service.
These services will be operational every summer day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
