The Plan of Exhibition Spaces of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, which seeks to promote artists from the Region of Murcia and provide more cultural offer to the different municipalities, shows in the exhibition space of the Consistorial House of Los Alcázares the creations of Pablo Cros

Under the title of 'Soy nube', the exhibition includes a series of works on a table in which Cros uses paint and different types of resins or sand from Portman to create textures that reflect abstract landscapes that represent both the immensity of the sea or the sky like similar structures that reproduce when, for example, an organism or skin is observed under the microscope.

The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta López Briones, said that "the Exhibition Space Plan is succeeding in promoting local visual artists, making it easier for local councils to have a cultural program of quality and put in value the exhibition spaces available in the different corners of the Region, making a culture closer to all Murcia and all who visit us. "

In total, the Exhibition Space Plan this year has 59 exhibitions in which 67 artists born or residents in the Region of Murcia will show their work.

For this initiative to promote culture and creativity and contribute to a stronger, more permanent and quality cultural fabric, the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts allocates 100,000 euros.

The artist

Pablo Cros (Cartagena, 1977) is a senior technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Artistic Ceramics and Applied Arts to Sculpture by the School of Arts and Design Superior of Murcia.

Throughout his professional career he has launched solo exhibitions in the Region as well as in Madrid or Mexico, as well as participating in more than twenty collective exhibitions.

Among his individual shows, in addition to 'Soy nube', 'Las 5 ón' stand out in the Gallery of Contemporary Art and Design of Puebla (Mexico) and the Byzantine Wall of Cartagena;

and 'The door to the sea', which passed through the ART 5 Gallery in Madrid, Progreso 8 in Murcia and the Casino de Cartagena.

The exhibition 'Soy nube' by Pablo Cros can be visited in the exhibition space of the Town Hall of Los Alcázares until July 31, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
