Mario Cervera, mayor of Los Alcázares again claims, as he would do during his time as councilor of the opposition, the need to put in place the means and measures necessary for improvement in health care in the municipality.
Currently, Los Alcázares is the municipality with the smallest schedule of the Mar Menor, with a schedule of 9 to 15 hours throughout the year, which is extended only to serve users displaced in the summer season until 9:00 pm .
This last question generates great dissatisfaction among the alcazareños and alcazareñas when they have to move throughout the year to be served in the SUAP of San Javier and Torre Pacheco from 3 pm.
As explained by the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Mario Cervera, "Our municipality has an average population of 25,000 inhabitants according to studies conducted based on the tons of garbage generated, which is one of the methods used to estimate the population of a place This number of inhabitants should be considered more than enough for Los Alcázares to have a health care service throughout the whole year. "
In this regard, recalls the mayor who a few years ago managed to approve a proposal in the Regional Assembly for the opening of a SUAP in the town, which has not yet materialized, in addition to having registered more than 4000 signatures in the Ministry of Health to comply with said proposal.
