On the occasion of the consequences that the cold drop has left these days in the Region of Murcia, the Bishop of Cartagena, Mons. José Manuel Lorca Planes, has convened an extraordinary session of the Episcopal Council for this Wednesday, September 18, to be held in Pacheco Tower.
The Episcopal Council is the diocesan body that assists the bishop in the work of government and is currently constituted by the auxiliary Bishop, the eight vicars of the pastoral areas, the Vicar General, the Family and Life Vicar and the Vicar for Evangelization.
During the day, Bishop Lorca and his Episcopal Council will meet with authorities, victims and institutions, such as Cáritas, in this area.
And in the afternoon they will visit the municipality of Los Alcázares, the most affected by the cold drop floods.
