Los Alcázares demonstrated once again its strong and united character in the celebration of its most important party.
And it is that every October 13 for 36 years the municipality celebrates the Day of Municipal Autonomy with the realization of an act in which it recognizes through the Al-Kazar Awards a person or group of the locality who work in benefit of the municipality.
The act of this edition was marked by floods, since since September 12 Los Alcázares once again assumed a great sadness to see that once again the thousands of neighbors who make it lost their homes, cars, personal belongings and a whole town, built largely on a ravine.
But neighbors and City Hall are working together to recover their lives and their people.
Therefore, with the very advanced conditioning work, the City Council, organizer of this event decided a few days ago to celebrate its big party because already and as said by its mayor Mario Pérez Cervera, "it is very important to remember the history of the municipality in such difficult times to get strength and stay together to get afloat. "
The local representative said that "the neighbors needed these two days of entertainment and conviviality to clear their minds after an event as hard as the floods, so I did not hesitate to seek help to offer my people a part of everything they deserve" .
For this reason, the government team led by Mario Cervera had "clear from the outset that the Al-Kazar prize should fall this year on the entire town of Los Alcázares," they say, a very special award that becomes a historical fact, since it is the first time that it is granted to all the set of neighbors.
But before the delivery of this award that was expressed through an emotional video and the presence of a plaque in the center of the stage, special mentions were given to all the emergency contingent that collaborated and participated helping in the emergency of the night of September 12-13, at the most critical moment of the cold drop.
Once the plaque was delivered, the act was closed by the mayor with the traditional institutional discourse whose content especially excited the attendees, among which were hundreds of neighbors and numerous regional authorities.
The Los Alcázares anthem and a family photo with the public, since they were the main protagonists when receiving the Al-Kazar Prize, closed this "historic" Day of Municipal Autonomy.
The night continued with the performance of the "La Mundial" orchestra thanks to the solidarity of its members and JB Producciones that offered their services at cost 0 to the town hall.
On the other hand, Cevera has also declared that "I could not feel more proud of my people and happier to be able to give to all those who form it a prize that honors their way of being and being in Los Acázares, the place we love so much" .
After Los Calderos Day and last night, the town continues with its recovery, as its mayor works forced to give "real solutions that do not once again put the lives of neighbors in danger," he said.
