The water management company in Los Alcázares will study each receipt and return to the neighbors the amount corresponding to the excess consumed on charges of cleaning their homes and premises
The mayor of the City Council of Los Alcázares Mario Cervera and the councilman of the Treasury, José Carlos Castejón have held a meeting with Aqualia this morning to request the bonus for the days of September corresponding to the floods in the water bill.
The integral water management company has collected the request of the representative of Alcazar and will return the consumption made as a result of the cleaning of their homes and commercial premises caused by the episode of flooding.
For this, the company will compare the receipt corresponding to the date of the floods with these same days of the year 2018.
With this measure, the mayor hopes, as he says "to alleviate the economy of the affected families since they have lost many belongings that they have to replace to return to normal and continue with their lives."
Therefore, Cervera explained that "from the City Council we will continue looking for immediate solutions that help the neighbors in the economic aspect, but also real solutions that eliminate the possibility that we will suffer a flood again".
The councilor says that "everything in my hand will be carried out urgently, depending on other administrations I will fight until the end."
