It happened last November |
The alleged authorship of the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation is attributed to them
One of them allegedly carried out a previous study of the establishment, posing as a client to guide the material author
The other, armed with a large knife, allegedly intimidated the security guard until he took possession of the daily collection of the arcade
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'STOPID', an investigation that has allowed to clarify a robbery to a public establishment in Los Alcázares and that has culminated with the identification, location and detention of the two alleged perpetrators of the crime .
The events took place in a recreation room in Los Alcazares during a night last November, when a person, who hid his face with a tubular scarf and wielding a large knife, intimidated the employees of the premises until he took hold of the collection of this, in this case a large amount of cash.
After knowing the facts, the Judicial Police of the Benemérita opened the corresponding operation in order to collect all possible evidence that would lead to the full clarification of the crime.
In one of the phases of the investigation, specifically during the viewing of security cameras, civil guards verified the presence of several clients inside the establishment during the execution of the criminal act.
The researchers detected that one of the clients, in a concealed and hidden way, seemed to make a series of gestures and indications towards the side of the street, where seconds later the material author of the robbery would begin his journey.
This gesticulation seemed to consist of indications to a third party with a meaning of "wait" an instant before starting the action, so it would be considered that this alleged client was ordering the alleged robber the right time to materialize the criminal act, since this person had direct vision about the activity and attention of the guard and the security inside the establishment.
At the same time, it was also observed that the alleged client seemed to distract the rest of existing clients inside the establishment and take them to another different unit, to the room where the cash dispenser was located, all this, apparently, with the purpose of leaving the material author of the facts free.
The investigations carried out allowed the civil guards to identify both the alleged client and the alleged perpetrator of the crime investigated, so a search device was established on both, which has culminated in recent days with its location and detention as alleged perpetrators of crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The Spanish detainees, 27 and 28 years old, residents of Los Alcázares and with a police record and the proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia).
