The teachers of the center and the students agree on this measure so as not to reach the final exams and the EBAU at a disadvantage
The Ministry of Education and Culture has agreed and approved a plan for the recovery of classes for second-year high school students of the Institute of Secondary Education Antonio Menárguez Costa de Los Alcázares, a center that was greatly affected by the different storms that hit the Region of Murcia in the months of September and January.
The Ministry, after consulting the educational center, has established the recovery of a total of 57 teaching hours for secondary school students, "a sensitive course due to the upcoming celebration of the Baccalaureate Assessment for Access to University (EBAU), "said the Minister of Education and Culture, Esperanza Moreno, who said that this plan" has the commitment of students, who understand the need to recover classes, as well as the teachers of the center who, voluntarily, they impart them. "
Said plan has established the subjects to be recovered, according to the request of the educational center itself.
Thus, they will recover in the extraordinary classes content of the subjects of History of Spain, Biology, Physics, History of Philosophy, Language, Greek and English.
As for the schedule of these classes, it is in the afternoon, after 4 pm, and others will be taught as the seventh hour of the school schedule, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
The schedule will vary, depending on the individual needs of the students, since it is also necessary to take into account that some students have classes in the afternoon at the Center for Sports Technology (CTD).
Therefore, as explained by the counselor, "it has been combined as much as possible with the opening hours of the center. In fact, some of the hours that are recovered are taught in the CTD itself, as this saves these students the displacement, while the rest of the students have no problem going there, "said the counselor.
