Socialist Youth of Los Alcazares convened its Extraordinary Assembly yesterday for the election of its new Secretary General.
This assembly was attended by militants of JJSS and the Socialist Party, as well as numerous supporters of the municipality.
The assembly voted unanimously for militant Juan Diego Marín as new representatives of the young socialists.
The now already Secretary General of JJSS at 18, a militant since 2015, is a high school student at the IES Antonio Menárguez Costa, and coach of the Los Alcázares Soccer School.
According to Juan Diego, "it is a pleasure and a pride to be the General Secretary of JJSS of my municipality to promote and contribute to the renewal of ideas for youth," he said.
The new youth representative also thanked the support received by the current Secretary General of the local socialist group and Mayor Mario Cervera, the regional deputy Manuel Sevilla, and the outgoing Secretary General and current councilor Pedro Pascual Lamas
For his part, the highest representative of the PSOE group in Los Alcázares, Mario Pérez Cervera said that "youth is the engine of change, and I expect from these JJSS a critical but constructive vision capable of meeting the needs of the youth of the municipality ".
Socialist Youth of the town is in a great moment for the group since it has a large group of young people affiliated with the party.
