Los Alcázares City Council has launched a service to print to families without resources the cards and tasks that schools send to students in the municipality to carry out during the suspension of classes by COVID-19.
Those interested in using this service because it is impossible for them to print their homework in their own homes, should send an email to the address of the Municipal Library indicating the name of the student, the course and the school, the home address and the contact phone number.
Likewise, said service will be in coordination with schools to help families who really need it to do so.
The distribution of the printed material has been carried out today for the first time to approximately 50 families at the hands of the staff of the Los Alcázares city council, in which councilors from the government team and volunteers have also participated.
This week this service will continue until Wednesday, to resume it the following week.
For her part, the Councilor for Education responsible for this initiative Gema Gárate explains that “we are living in a very complex situation so that the education of minors continues to evolve to what parents and adults in charge of boys and girls are doing a great job. For this reason, the City Council joins this task by facilitating it, with the printing of the duties aimed at families with few resources in order to help as much as possible and so that the students are not so adversely affected by continuing their education from home â€.
