Los Alcázares City Council communicates that:
Due to the worldwide pandemic of the Covid-19 Los Alcázares coronavirus, it has suffered the first loss in the municipality, since the virus has claimed a fatality.
This is an 80-year-old man whose career was devoted a large part of his life to helping others through the Caritas organization.
From the local government we convey our deepest condolences to family and friends of this neighbor who will always be remembered and we ask the rest of the population to respect his memory.
Mayor Mario Cervera expresses his condolences to family members in "a very sad moment for Los Alcázares and for the entire world, since due to this health crisis the lives of many other vulnerable people are also in danger," he says.
For this reason, “I pray that the measures of confinement be heeded because life is priceless and it will be very hard if we suffer the loss of more neighbors again.
This has been a sad loss personally since I have always had contact and affection with the family of the deceased sharing moments and memories, and in the last week I have been very close to them offering them everything that was in my hands, "explains the municipal councilman .
The City Council informs that strict measures continue to be carried out to avoid contagions "at all costs", such as cleaning and disinfection, delivery of masks, closing of accesses to the municipality, and assistance to the elderly in a special situation or vulnerability, among many others.
