| The City Council assumes this work 100% with the municipal budget to adapt the asphalt and the damages caused by the repeated floods | The works corresponding to the adaptation and patching plan for the streets of Los Alcázares have started today.
These works are part of a second phase focused on Los Narejos, El Oasis and numerous other streets in the municipality, in addition to the repair of some flaws in Zone 0, belonging to the first phase of this plan valued at 40,000 euros.
And, these subsequent repairs are necessary due to the floods and numerous episodes of torrential rains that have raised the asphalt again in that area. It is a work with a cost of another 40,000 euros in this new phase, launched with municipal budgets through the Department of Urban Planning headed by the mayor Pedro J.
Sánchez. On the other hand, from this council, the works of the Plaza de la Pescadería and the damage caused by the floods in the Parque de la Rambla have been completed.
In addition, the Del Río Nalón commercial area is being repaired, with the arrangement of tree grates and steel. Councilman Sánchez has said in this regard that "from Urbanismo we are constantly working to solve the needs of Los Alcázares and that our people are taken care of, giving priority to the most urgent and relevant works." For his part, Mayor Mario Cervera explained that "together with these two patching phases, the streets of the Urbanization Las Villas de Madrid have been paved, therefore, all these works are an example of our progressive response to the demands of all the neighbors, since many of them have been waiting for them for years.
