Within the framework of the operational devices established for mobility control to comply with the current state of alarm, decreed by the Government of Spain, civil guards specialized in Citizen Security Prevention, while serving the urban area of ??Los Alcázares, detected a notable movement of people, who carried, among their belongings, various doses of drugs, mainly marijuana. Given these facts, the Benemérita opened the investigation to determine the traceability of the drug and thus find out its origin, in order to dismantle the alleged point of sale of the drug. The Civil Guard then established numerous vigilances and oriented the operative devices around the drug investigation, which made it possible to verify the sale of a large number of doses of narcotic substances, mainly marijuana, to habitual consumers not only of the coastal town but also of nuclei bordering urban areas. Once the building dedicated to the sale of the drug was located and all the necessary indications had been obtained, prior judicial authorization, the Civil Guard had entered and searched the home in which a large quantity of marijuana, hashish was seized.

The registry has culminated in the arrest of a 20-year-old Spanish man who lives in Los Alcázares as an alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health for drug trafficking.
