The Eco Cultural Association already has programming that will be the fourth series of talks on history, heritage and culture which will run until next May with various lectures and contests.
The first one, the "popular botanical Saber in the Campo de Cartagena" will take place on Friday 26 February at 20 am in the Plenary Hall of the City of Los Alcázares and will have as speaker the historian and ethnographer, Gregorio Rabal Saura .
A talk will focus on the knowledge of plants and their traditional uses in the Campo de Cartagena.
Through years of research and collection of testimonies, Gregorio Rabal, has gathered a huge amount of valuable information has come to light in the book "The popular botanical knowledge in the city of Cartagena", copies of which can be booked in talk own.
These discussions will be developed in the coming months, with the collaboration of the City of Los Alcázares.
