The mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, the General Director of Sports of the UCAM, Paul Rosique and the Councillor for Sports, Nicolas Ruiz Gomez presented today the championships in Spain University Taekwondo, Triathlon and Badminton to be held in Los Alcázares.
The May 7 sporting activity begins with the Championship of Spain University Triathlon to be held in the sprint distance in both male and female category.
The triathletes will swim 0,750 Km., Pedaling 20 Km. And run 5km.
on a circuit that will run through the High Performance Center.
On 7 and 8 May the Championship of Spain University Taekwondo which will feature Olympic gold Joel Gonzalez played.
The competition will be held at the High Performance Center in male and female form with categories flyweight, fly, bantam, feather, light, extra light, medium and heavy.
The CAR also host the Badminton Championship, to be held from 9 to May 11 with the following system of competition;
Individual male and female, male and female doubles and mixed doubles.
The mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida explained that "these sports activities increase the visibility of the municipality by the large number of athletes these days visit Los Alcázares" he said.
For their part, the Director General of Sports of the Catholic University and the Councillor for Sports, have agreed that Los Alcázares have a unique environment and infrastructure for any sport.
