Sanchez Solís highlights the 4% decline in criminal offenses for 2015
The Government delegate, Antonio Sanchez Solis, and the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, have chaired this morning the Local Security Board of the municipality to coordinate the safety device for the summer, a time when the population multiplies fivefold in relation to winter and which, according Bastida, pay special attention to retail, the increasing number of street vendors in the market and shoplifting of a different nature.
"These are problems that local police can not cope alone, so we want to strengthen coordination to avoid repeating actions by the two bodies so they can convey a message of reassurance to the public," said Bastida.
Sanchez Solis has indicated that it will try to meet as far as possible, all requests from the mayor, "always under the principles of collaboration and coordination, because we must not forget that the local police plays an important role in crime prevention, "he said.
Sanchez Solis has he valued the good figures recorded crime in the last year in Los Alcázares, where the total number of criminal offenses decreased by 4% so far in 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, "he said.
