As is tradition, the International Week of the Garden and the Sea held every year on the day of town guest with an institutional event in which both towns are twinned.
In this edition Los Alcázares and Albudeite have tightened their ties "to both municipalities collaborate reciprocally in the tourist development of our peoples," said the mayor.
Anastasio Bastida, Mayor of Los Alcázares, stressed in his speech that "unites us both municipalities the need to preserve our traditions as a differentiator and source of the diversity and richness of our land."
The mayor of Los Alcázares praised the benefits of Albudeite and reviewed for its festivals, gastronomic traditions and history.
For his part, Jesus Garcia, mayor of Albudeite welcomed the invitation of the City of Los Alcázares to be invited municipality "because it allows us the possibility to show our town in an event of great significance," he said.
