This Monday was the presentation of the 29th World Championships IAU 100km, to be held in the coastal town on Sunday 27, next to the Veterans World, Regional Championship 100 and 50km.

And the International Open 100km.

In less than two weeks, the world ultra-fund will look at our region and more specifically Los Alcázares.

It will be Sunday, November 27, when the greatest specialists in 100km.

Will meet at the XXIX World Championships IAU of 100km, also hosting the Veterans World Championship and the International Open 100km.

Road Race, open in the latter case to any athlete interested in participating.

To these incentives should also be added the Championship of the Region of Murcia of 100 and 50km, where you can take part FAMU athletes.

The event was held on Monday at the Ministry of Culture, with the assistance of the Minister of Culture and spokesman of the Government of the Region of Murcia, Noelia Arroyo, as well as the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida;

Nicolás Ruiz, Councilor for Sports, Youth and Civil Protection Los Alcázares, along with the president of the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia, Juan Manuel Molina, and the ultrafondista Manolo Rico.

There they knew all about the mentioned competitions, that will turn to the coastal town in epicenter of the specialty during the weekend, also confirming to the Region of Murcia like sports tourist destination throughout the year.
