The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, who participated in the educational day, thanked the actor for their involvement and stressed that "the regional government shares with all society the need to work together to improve school coexistence, and Has made the Region of Murcia into a pioneering community in the fight against bullying and in promoting the improvement of coexistence in the classroom.
All this, with the implementation of the Plan for the Improvement of School Coexistence 2017-2020, which includes 80 concrete measures to involve the whole society in teacher training, social awareness and active participation of students.
The Minister explained that the main lines of action include "social awareness and joint work of all sectors, increased channels of information dissemination and training, as well as the implementation of innovative mechanisms for detection and prevention of Situations that may alter the good climate of coexistence of students. "
The objective of the plan is to reinforce the service offered and the Ministry with 450 specific professionals, including counselors, technical teachers of services to the community, inspectors, teams of educational guidance and psychopedagogical and the Regional Observatory for coexistence.
Martinez-Cachá stressed that it is "a joint work that seeks social union to prevent harassment in all its forms." Regional coexistence plan
The Ministry works on innovative pilot projects, among which the educational programs 'Cuenta Conmigo' and 'Redponsables' stand out, as well as enabling more agile and efficient networks and devices to detect potential coexistence problems such as the implementation of 600 'Help Bills' In schools, which has become a pioneering measure in Spain.
