The residents of Los Alcázares have been suffering, for more than a year, a wave of robberies in vehicles, homes and shops in different neighborhoods of the town.
The spokesman of the socialist municipal group in the City council of the Alcázares, Mario Perez Cervera, demands to the team of municipal government that meets with the Delegate of the Government of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Bernabé, to approach of urgent form the taking of measures for solve the problem of citizen insecurity in Los Alcázares.
"We have been demanding solutions to this problem for more than a year and the mayor ignores our neighbors continue to suffer robberies without the maximum municipal representative to solve some areas of the municipality are insufficiently lit, facilitating the work to friends of others. Despite the hard work and effort made by our local police, the strength they have is insufficient, as the police union has been denouncing: house raids, pickpockets in the weekly markets and the areas with the greatest number of people, robberies in shops of our municipality, they are in short the sample of the scarce security to which our neighbors are subjected due to the lack of resources that the government gives us. "
The Socialist Party has been demanding the solution to this problem for more than a year, when it came to present a motion in plenary in this regard.
It is also claimed that the government team has not convened the Local Security Board despite having been requested in plenary session on July 3, 2017.
