The Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida and the Councilor for Youth, Nicolás Ruiz Gómez, today closed the Joint Employment and Training Program of "Social care for people at home" with the delivery of diplomas to the 15 students who have completed successfully the program that has lasted twelve months.
The students have combined for one year the theoretical training with practices under a training and learning contract whose promoting entity has been the City Council of Los Alcázares.
The first three months have received a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service, having been hired since July where they have received 75% of the Minimum Interprofessional Salary, including the corresponding extra payments.
The total cost of the project of € 164,709 has been subsidized by the SEF, through funds from the European Fund and the Ministry of Employment.
Students, in addition to training to obtain a certificate of professionalism, which aims to improve their employability and facilitate their access to the labor market, as the ultimate goal of this type of programs, have also received business and complementary training in order to improve your labor insertion.
The first mayor, has encouraged students to continue training "in this area that is totally vocational" in this sense has reiterated the importance of continuing to train to access the world of work.
